1. Edit table data including binary/BLOB and CLOB data types

DtSQL allows users to edit table data :

• Select the table node and the table data will be displayed on the right table

• Double the table data or click 'Edit Table' menu button to pop up a new panel to edit table data

• Edit table data
  • Double the table cell to edit the data, the row header color will be changed to yellow after data is updated
  • Select the table cell and click 'Set cell value' menu button to set the cell values :
    • Set to NULL
    • Set to current timestamp
    • Set to current date
    • Set to date
  • Click 'Edit cell in new windows' menu button to edit the table cell in a new window
  • Click 'Edit row in new windows' menu button to edit the table row in a new window
• Undo/Redo last changed table data
• Save changed table data
  • Click 'Save change to database' to save changed table data
  • Select key columns for the update SQL condition, and click 'Next' button

  

  • Click 'Execute' button to run SQL scripts to update changed table data

  

2. Format table data according to data type pattern

DtSQL allows users to format displayed table data according to the data type pattern :

• Select menu item 'Tools' -> 'Preferences' to pop up the preferences panel
• Select 'Table Data' on the left to display all applicate table data type pattern
• Change the data type patterns

• Click 'Save' buton to save the change and apply all changes to the table

  

3. Filter, sort and search query result

DtSQL allows users to filter, sort and search query result :

• Select the table node or execute sql script, and the data will be displayed on the right table

• Enter the value in the quick search field and click 'Quick Search' menu button to search data in the table
• Click 'Advanced Search' menu button to pop up new options for data search
• Click 'Filter and Sort' menu button to pop up a filter panel.

• Add filter and sort condition and then click 'Apply' button to filter and sort the table data

4. Insert, duplicate, update, delete and restore table data

DtSQL allows users to insert, duplicate, update and delete table data, double click the table data or click 'Edit Table' menu to pop up a new edit panel :

• Click 'Add new row' menu button to add a new row in the table, the row header color is green
• Select table rows and click 'Duplicate selected row(s)' menu button to duplicate selected rows, the row header color is blue
• Double the table cell to edit the data, the row header color will be changed to yellow after data is updated
• Select table rows and click 'Delete selected row(s)' menu button to delete selected rows, the row header color is changed to red
• Select deleted table rows and click 'Restore deleted row(s)' to restore deleted rows

5. Find and replace data, preview generated SQL

DtSQL allows users to find, replace and preview generated SQL :

• Select the table node and the table data will be displayed on the right table
• Double the table data or click 'Edit Table' menu button to pop up a new panel to edit table data
• Enter the value in the quick search field and click 'Quick Search' menu button to search data in the table
• Click 'Advanced Search' menu button to pop up new options for data search

• Click 'Save change to database' to save changed table data and show the SQL scripts
